About
I’m Jorge Duarte, also known as Jojo. I was born in El Salvador and raised in Texas. I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember—even before I realized it. As a kid, I was captivated by logos, especially my favorite local sports teams—the Cowboys and the Mavericks—because of how iconic and memorable their designs were.
As a teenager, I was drawn to skate culture—I wasn’t great at skating, but I loved the creativity and style of it, and I spent my time designing skate brand logos and deck themes. Even younger, I was completely fascinated by music videos and AMVs on early YouTube. I didn’t just watch the scenes—I imagined how video transitions could flow with music, constantly revising and rethinking them in my head to make everything feel seamless and impactful.
I’m eager to learn from others with more experience, constantly growing and pushing my craft further. My ultimate dream is to become a director—someone who brings stories to life visually, shaping every detail and syncing motion with sound. Turning this passion into a career—combining visual storytelling, design, and motion—has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m fully committed to this path.
